Location: Burton upon Trent
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday | Full-Time | On-Site
Contract: Permanent

Major Recruitment are looking for a Learning & Development Executive on behalf of a leading manufacturing business.

This is an exciting opportunity where you'll play a key role in developing people, driving compliance and supporting the continuous growth of the business. You will work closely with the HR team and operational managers and be responsible for coordinating and delivering learning and development initiatives across the site, ensuring employees have the skills, knowledge and training required to succeed.

You'll support the full employee learning journey, from onboarding and inductions through to ongoing development, helping to build a positive learning culture across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain mandatory and production training to ensure compliance with food safety and customer audit requirements.

• Develop, review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training documentation.

• Support the onboarding process, delivering engaging inductions for new starters.

• Identify training needs by working closely with department managers and key stakeholders.

• Design, coordinate and deliver a variety of training programmes, workshops and learning materials.

• Monitor training records and compliance, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.

• Promote a culture of continuous learning, development and employee engagement.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a Learning & Development, Training or Development role.

• Experience within a food manufacturing, FMCG or regulated manufacturing environment is highly desirable.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Experience developing and delivering training programmes.

• Confident using Microsoft Office and learning management systems.
